Ilgin Altincik

Ilgin is a London-trained Reputational Due Diligence Analyst. He has a BA in Politics from Newcastle University. After completing his BA, Ilgin pursued postgraduate studies in European politics at Strathclyde University, and then completed a Master of Politics with a specialization in Conflict at the University of Copenhagen. Following academic success in intelligence, public law, and regulatory risks at Copenhagen, Ilgin published the first edition of the University-approved Wikipedia topic of the Turkish-Libyan maritime security agreement as part of the school of politics public information project. He finished his studies with a thesis on Middle Eastern elections and power dynamics.
Following his studies, Ilgin returned to his home country of Cyprus where he served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. While serving at the ministry, Ilgin was involved in multiple high-profile cases involving international law, the European Court of Human Rights and anti-money laundering investigations. During his time in Cyprus Ilgin was also actively involved in bicommunal projects and peacebuilding efforts between the Turkish and Greek Cypriots. |
