Dominic is a Risk Intelligence Analyst at Luminint, as well as a Research Analyst for the Geopolitics on the Periphery Desk at London Politica. His previous roles have included an internship at the Royal Navy Strategic Studies Centre, conducting research and writing papers looking into the Royal Navy's long-term strategy goals. His paper ‘Reassessing the UK’s Exclusive Economic Zone’ and contributions to ‘Art of Admiralty’ have been used to inform the Royal Navy’s future strategic policy with the House of Lords Advisory Committee and the First Sea Lord. Dominic has also previously researched the Royal Navy’s future role in the High North, and has attended RUSI conferences to discuss this.
Dominic holds a First Class Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Politics from Cardiff University. Alongside this, he also held the role of the university’s youth ambassador to Wilton Park, part of the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. This involved research into whether the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals could be met in the midst of armed conflict, with particular focus on the Russo-Ukrainian war. |
